DJ Black Coffee

DJ Black Coffee is at it again. He’s been nominated for Best Deep House DJ at the prestigious Ibiza DJ Awards in Spain.

This is Black Coffee’s third nomination for the international awards, which celebrate DJs and producers excelling in the electronic music space.
Last year, he walked away with the coveted title and in 2015 – the first time he cracked a nomination – he bagged the Best Breakthrough DJ award.

Our local boy is up against British DJs Damian Lazarus and Maya Jane Cole, as well as American deck-spinner DJ Bedouin.

“The final list of nominees has been compiled with the help of a panel of industry professionals and is more extensive than ever. They reflect a wide range of DJs and producers, including many who remain at the forefront, as well as some exciting new talents,” the awards organisers said.
Black Coffee is currently in Ibiza, after securing a residency at Hi Ibiza for the duration of the European summer, which ends in September.

The awards are set to take place on 26 September on the party island.
