The Springboks

Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend the day in the Springbok convoy on the Joburg leg of their trophy tour. It had been a busy week for the men in Green and Gold. In case you don’t know the Springboks under the Captaincy of Siya Kolisi beat England in the Rugby World Cup Final in Japan this past Saturday.

At The World Rugby awards on Sunday, Bok Coach Rassie Erasmus won the coach of the year, The Springboks were named team of the year and Bok Flank Pieter-Steph Du Toit was  named World Player of the year.

They team arrived in South Africa on Tuesday and have been Celebrating with the rest of the country ever since.
