Jody Hendricks won two awards at the prestige annual SAB Sports Media Awards.

South African Sports Media Awards were held at the Wanderers Club in Johannesburg on Tuesday night. This annual event in its 36th year, was once again sponsored by South African Breweries, to applaud a total of 13 award-winners across 17 categories broken down into the disciplines of Photography, Audio, Video, Written and Digital Media.

Robyn Chalmers, Head of Corporate Communications at SAB said “The SAB Sports Media Awards have grown tremendously over the last few years.” He further explained that they were very deliberate in ensuring that the awards evolve in line with global and local developments in the media landscape. Therefore as sponsors, SAB were especially pleased with the entries received under the ‘Digital Media’ category as well as the increasing year-on-year quality of ‘Newcomer of the Year’.”
